Addison's visit to the dentist

Addison went to the Dentist last week. She did such a good job. When I was a kid I don't remember the dentist being a fun experience, but Dr. MacKay and his staff do a great job of making it a fun, pleasant experience for kids. It starts in the waiting room with an arcade, then your name is called and you go back to the room. Jamie, Addison's hygienist put on Cherry flavored gloves and let Addison pick what flavor toothpaste and polish she wanted. Then she showed Addison everything she was going to do by using it on Addison's finger first. Addison had such a great time with the Water Spray and the Vacuum. She however was not going for the x-ray's. Jamie was very patient in trying but Addison didn't want to bite down on the films. So we will save that for the next visit. Jamie then handed her a Nintendo DS to play with. The only time Addison cried was having to give the Nintendo back when the doctor came in. Dr. MacKay looked at her teeth, and gave Keith and I a rave review and other than a small cross bite he was happy. Addison got to pick a prize and a new toothbrush and we were done. It was so pleasant. As we were leaving Addison said "we can come back tomorrow if you want to" What more could the good doctor ask for.
Keith had the day off for a family matter so he got to join us!
