Hello November

Addison and Ava ready to go!
This is crazy! It's already November. I feel like I blinked and the year is already coming to a close. We had an October full of Pumpkins, Football, Friends and Fun. Addison went on her first Field trip. She had her first Harvest Party at school and she got Glasses! It was quite the month. I have to say I am relieved that's it over! Addison wanted to be Marie from the Aristocats. No one makes that costume so I had to come up with something on my own. Good thing Keith is an artist cause without the face paint I'm not sure anyone would be able to tell she was a cat! Reed was going to be a mouse, but the Mickey Mouse costume was to cute to pass up.
Addison and Ava ready to go!
We have had an October full of ups and downs. My Grandfather passed away on the 21st. He was 95 and had lived a very full life. However, that doesn't make it any less sad or make us miss him any less. He was know by Addison and Reed as "Maus". I am so glad that Reed got to meet him and I know I will make sure he knows who he was named after. October 21st we also celebrated our 6th Anniversary. It seems like it flew by. We celebrated by a weekend away. We went to Epcot's Food and Wine festival and had a blast. Here's to a Holiday Season full of Up's!

A Caring Cub

Okay so you can't see what this says but it is to cute! Addison is starting VPK today at Suntree United Methodist. She went there last year for preschool and we loved it. She was selected for Ms. Megan's class and we couldn't be more thrilled. Here is the darling picture of her and the class bear "Georgi". She is so sweet and I love her little note she wrote to Addison. It made her feel so special. Ms. Megan's class is the caring cubs and I can't wait for the rest of the year.

I wanted to do a "First day Survival Kit" for the two teachers. This is what I came up with.

Getting in the car. I was in a hurry and I don't take good pictures, just ask Keith. So the next few are an example of that. At least it's documented! She got her hair cut and I just love it.
All ready to go in! She picked Fluff the bear to take (it actually is from Yankee Candle and smells divine!) She was so excited to take her lunch!
Mrs. Megan and Addison. I get so flustered trying to take pictures of special things, that this is so typical! Blurry!!!! UHHHHHGGGG!

more pics!

Washing Hands!
A better picture than the first post. She looks so grown up!

Foggy Camera! At least I get points for trying right!?

Her first "two-wheel" bike

Last minute fixes before she takes off!
I love the cat helmet. I tried to get her to to pick the bunny rabbit one cause it had crazy ears but she picked the cat (who would've guessed) and wore it proud!
Daddy right there to catch her if she falls! Which he got to do several times. She thought she could take the corners going full speed!

She is growing up so fast. I know I say that often but this summer I feel she has really grown! She starts VPK on Wednesday and I am so nervous. She on the other hand is super excited! When we were at the doctor for her 4year check up and he asked if she knew how to ride a bike without training wheels. I thought well no she doesn't even have a bike for training wheels! She has had a tricycle for quite a while and today she got her a big girl "two wheel" bike! She hoped right on and pedaled away!!!

Bath Time Fun

So bathtime is a crazy time at the Richard house. It has gotten much easier now that Reed has gotten older. Addison is a great big sister and can always make Reed laugh!
As Kari said the graffiti in the back adds to the punk "rockness". I think it gives it some street cred.

Karen the Hermit Crab and more

Addison got a Hermit Crab. We went to Incredible Pets and she wanted just about everything! So we decided on Karen a Hermit Crab. It is pretty crazy, I have even touched it, so it can't be all that bad!
