Leonard Louis Lusiak 1925-2009

Keith's dear Grandpa Len passed away last Sunday. He was the sweetest man. He welcomed me to the family with open arms. He was an active guy. Always golfing, always smiling and always taking pictures. He taught Keith how to drive a stick, and many other things. Keith has such fond memories of him, at the lake, in college, when they came to Tulsa. He was so patient. He was so gentle with Addison. His face would light up when she was around. Addison and I had the pleasure of seeing him on Wednesday. He was in such good spirits. Addison ran to him with open arms. He played with her, he drew pictures for her and played with the little "fake" animals around the house. He was so sweet giving each animal a name. "Pee-Wee" the little mouse that sits on the T.V. and "Honey Bear" the little bear that sits on the DVD player, will always be such a sweet memory for me and I will do my best to make sure Addison remembers it too. Grandpa Len has such a story to tell. A Photographer in WWII, a father of 2 and a husband of 62 years. He leaves behind such a great legacy. Keith and him were very close and I know he was a great example to him and others. We miss him dearly. When things like this happens it helps puts life in to perspective. It doesn't matter what you have at the end of the day it's who you have besides you. We love you and miss you Grandpa Lenny but we know we will see you again!
