A Date at the Zoo

This Saturday we met the Colbert's at the Zoo. The day started off playing in the Paws On area in the water. They had so much fun. The buckets at the beginning were plentiful and as more kids arrived the buckets became harder to get a hold of not that you can tell by the pictures. Gabe did good playing with the other kids and Addison didn't want anyone to touch her stirring thing (spoon). After playing in the water it was off to feed the Giraffes. At first we thought we had missed our chance and then just when we were about to give up one came back and Gabe did a great job feeding him. Addison usually loves feeding them but this time she didn't want to wait for him to come to her so she threw them at him. So that was the end of that. Both Addison and Gabe wanted to walk most of the way and at one point held hands. They really are very cute together. Addison is very excited to have many play dates with Gabe this summer! Hopefully, next time she will try to impress him with her stellar GOOD manners!!
